Hello all! i always have a similar feeling while watching Stalker or Blade Runner. I never understood why. Is is because both heroes are kind of lonely and misunderstood? a lot of water in both movies? Do you guys feel anythong like that or i'm alone?

Because both are MONUMENTAL works dedicated to human nature and its terrible but wonderful implications on the surrounding "reality".

I think that's very hard to understand Bladerunner and Stalker and man can find new meaning of some scene everytime he watches these movies. They have both excellent music too.

Funny, I was just thinking of Blade Runner (while listening to Iron Maiden's "Somewhere in Time", which is partly inspired by that movie) and how good it was. Yet I never thought of it in the same pattern as our beloved Stalker. They have something in common as you said, in that they both are studies of human nature and the impact of technology on humans.
