IMVHO, this'll suck. Non-Russians don't know how to make movies after Russian novels. But hey, that's just my opinion

I don't know, i guess it's ok if it's someone with good sense in his head - but not in his pocket, like all those Hollywood zombie masters...

After reading Roadside and now seeing this, I tell you, they’re gonna mess it up! Redrick is not suitable as a Hollywood hero. He simply doesn’t fit in the good guy – bad guy categorization.
(Otherwise they are of course good at special effects which is not a drawback if you aren’t going to raise the story to the spiritual level which a certain Russian did)

I never liked american adaptations of non-american arts. Look what happened to the movie Solaris.

Horrors, indeed. A crime story? Yeah, it's gonna be a crime they are about to commit. In two years we'll know for sure. Anyway, it was just a question of time, the story is really fit for screen. I will spare my nerves for the moment they will announce the cast.. (Can't help remembering the Polish 'Wiedzmin', what a disaster it was.) Has anybody got any hints, who could play Red? Who could be the best?

They will make a nutsty movie out of it. no one can play Red. At least not someone I know. And no one can beat A. Tarkovky on showing the "atmosphere" in Zona. It's a living being , not a place full of traps or anything like that.

Well, if we step a lil' bit down, what about David Wenham or Paul Bettany? The director currently assigned to the project, he has no blockbusters on his account, so one cannot write him off, at least right now . You know, I'm curious, more than nervous about all this story. Tja, there's still plenty of time (for the awful to happen)...

No further updates, yet, but I have come across one actor who in my eyes would be perfect as Red, fellow stalkers, I give you Christopher Eccleston!
