Edward Artemiev As one of the pioneers of experimental electro-acoustic music, Edward Artemiev has attained the status of an icon today. Following academic training in Moscow, he became familiar with the synthesizer that Russian mathematician and engineer Yevgeny Murzin had developed in 1960. In going about exploring the possibilities of this new instrument—both its technical-compositional potential as well as its capacity to produce musical narratives and expressive tonal imagery—Artemiev quickly acquired a reputation as one of the most original soundscape composers of his generation. In the West, he is know primarily for the soundtracks he wrote for three of Andrei Tarkovsky’s films—Solaris, The Mirror and Stalker. www.aec.at/en/archives/festival_archive/festival_catalogs/festival_artikel.asp?iProjectID=12960

Hmm, but why splitting the file in such a weird manner? Is it zen-like denial of common logic? o.o i feel SO far from enlightenment *whine-whine*

Hope that barbed wire didn't scorch your legs, somewhat. Many thanks... this is stuff which deserves to be in the ARCHIVE! Contact Malishas, he'll do the job.

Yes, it's denial of common logic and it's because rules of Rapidshare, where are the files stored... There is a rule max. 100 MB in one uploaded file, for non-premium users... so the first file is about 100 MB and the second one is the rest (about 8 MB...)
This is the rule of Zone, Professor...

Second rule of Rapidshare is: If you download more than 30 MB, I think, you have to wait 80 minutes and then you can download next file. So, If you download 50 or 100 MB, you have to wait equal time, but if the next file is only 8 MB, you can download another 22 MB file immediately... Somebody knows, somebody throws metal nuts...BTW: Do you like Solaris' part of soundtrack?

It's not wisdom, it's experience ;D maybe Porcupine, when he wasn't Porcupine but The Teacher, told me how to use Rapidshare I have non-original soundtrack too, which is simply cutted from the movie, so there are also parts of dialogues between music, and especially the part which started (in english translation) "And there an immense earthquake took place..." is beatiful...

It's not wisdom, it's experience ;D and metal nuts, i see XD ...Is there a problem you can't solve by throwing a lot of metal nuts into it?.. ^^ I have non-original soundtrack too, which is simply cutted from the movie, so there are also parts of dialogues between music, and especially the part which started (in english translation) "And there an immense earthquake took place..." is beatiful... sounds neat. Pity, i don't have "Solaris" right now to relate...
